i saw on a customs bike(motorbike) special on tv two nights ago, they had a bike at night with flickering lights near the head of the motor, they showed a close up of them and said it was clear spark plug wires and the flicker was caused by the electricity of the coil to spark plugs when the bike was being revved, i was wondering WHERE CAN I GET 2 OF THESE CLAER WIRES??????? i gotta have them b/c i think they look sooo trick and nobody else has them

Watching that show on West Coast Choppers huh? I saw those two, they were trick looking.

I would say your best bet would be to call the custom Harley shops (maybe even West Coast Choppers) and inquire about them. Sure would look good at the dunes at night.

J.C. Whitney Co. sells them for $3.98 each.

They are actually clear/red tinted spark plugs caps that replace the caps you already have on the end of your spark plug wires. They slip on with no effort at all.

They flash when the engine is running.

They have three sizes (Part#):
06LD3182X is a 120 degree angle cap.
06LD3183N is a 90 degree angle cap.
01LD0978W is a Straight cap.

I had them on my Banshee, but it looked a little funny so I removed them. It kinda looked like their was an open electrical short at the plugs due to the flashing.

You can call J.C. Whitney and get a free catalog to look at a picture of them at 312-431-6102 or fax them at 800-537-2700.

Good luck!

I saw that show! It was about Jesse James' custom bikes. Anyways, if I recall correctly, the system worked on the principle of a neon light. They pass the spark current through a gas filled tube. The tube flickers for every spark. It looked fragile- I doubt it would last long on an atv.
