When Polaris ATVs like mine came with the battery mounted under the left rear fender people complained about. Your battery can get dirty and covered in mud there. So Polaris put the battery in between the frame rails, and people complained about that too. So now you can put your battery in the same place people complained about before Polaris switched to the new place that people complain about. You just can't please some people.
