I blew the CV joint apart on my scrambler. When I called my dealer, I was assumming I could just replace the CV joint. They said NO! Apparantly you have to get either a partial cv joint for $165 or the whole axle for $190. Since I need it ASAP, I opted for the $190 fix. Is there anybody that knows where you can get just the CV joint? It would surely be a big savings and good info to know about in the future.

Havent hadany trouble with my Scrambler but have replaced CV joints on several Sportsman. You should be able to get just the CV joint in a kit that includes lube and a new boot for around $70. Now there may be other damage that required the whole half shaft. Hope this helps.

Goto www.fwdservice.com they sell rebuild kits for around $45 or call them at 815-962-2120. I have order the kits from them before. The kit you need is RBK-502.

Chamberlain, you bum! What are you doing in here? I pick up my parts tonight and then will begin the process of putting Frankenstein back together. I heard you got picked up by the 5-0 for spinning donuts in the school yard! LOL!!!! I've been told there are pictures to prove it!!!!!
