Hello all I have recently bought a quad for my son to ride about on but becuase I have no clue about what I am buying after some research I think I have bought a fake Suzuki lt50 .
I have searched all over Google with the vin number to try and find out the make and model with no luck the vin number is LCyatv4w85yh12274 if anyone else knows what it could be .
Also I'm not sure if it's a 4 stroke or 2 as I dont know to much about quads lol
Heres some photos if someone could help that would be great thanks
Cyclepedia's vin decoder is one of the best but seems to be down at the moment. Yes it is a fake. There are close copies of the LT50 made by Limax and Necht but this isn't one. Someone has stuck Suzuki decals on a Chinese 50cc bike. Your engine has a makers name on it, that is about all you need to know.
Looks like a fan cooled two stroke, but we can't tell from those photos. Tell us the name on that fan cowl, and check if there is anywhere for valves to be, in the cylinder head.
