New atv to me questions
#1
I just picked up my first Chinese ATV Peace 110cc ATV TPATV501 110CC
looking for more info on upgrades. or issues i should know about.
It needs tires can i get bigger rims and tires? how would i find bigger or wider? stock seems so thin and hard
or does someone recommend an easy tire upgrade that works well
I think it needs a starter relay since i have to jump with a screw driver to start when pressing the the button to start nothing happens but the light will dim while pressed

With most rims you can get bigger outside diameter and wider tyres to fit them, the limit on the back is the tyres hitting the wheelarch and exhaust. However bigger OD tyres mean higher gearing, so acceleration may be hit. Front tyres, bigger OD can alter steering geometry, though not much, wider can make the bike harder to steer as well as altering the geometry, so be cautious about how wide you go.
If the solenoid doesn't click when you press the button, it may be a faulty solenoid, but there could be lock-outs so you can only start with a brake on, or the bike in neutral, so be sure it isn't just a lock-out not on, before buying a solenoid.

I have done it all!!!! First buy yourself a RK chain, then sSpam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word t can the stock spark plug and get a NGK. KEEP YOUR BOLTS TIGHT! invest in a big bottle of loctite.
I put smaller sprockets on the drive, slip on exhaust, welded mods, better carb, ground down the steering limiter, wheel spacers, softer shocks, upgraded air filter, ripped off the kill switches, added a chain tensioner, removed skid plate for more clearance (but you run the risk of a rock hitting your sprocket or brakes), water proofed the electrical connections (which is probably one of your issues... pull the connecters apart and make sure they make contact. The stock ones always have problems) I would guess your starter problem is at the bundle of wires at your CDI... I had the same problem
