Elp please folk's!
Had this machine from almost new but has now been stood idle for probably 18 months to two years. Dry stored in a brick garage.
Now need to use it again and no go! Crank's OK (battery has died, was replaced in 2013) so a slave is being used ATM. Have a spark but no pump noise when ign. turned on like it used to.
Removed all it's clothes and extracted the pump whish when tested did absolutely nothing so I presumed it was seized and replaced it but still no go.
Can anyone talk me through a test procedure please (treat me like a numpty) before I loose the will to live?
I'm in the UK by the way so you'll have to talk to me in old English.

 

did you make sure there was power going to the fuel pump? check all the fuses as well?
