2003 Sportsman 400 stays on for 10 seconds then nothing

2003 Sportsman 400 stays on for 10 seconds then nothing
I turn the key and the speedo lights up for about 10 seconds and then goes blank. Sometimes it only stays on for 2-3 seconds and sometimes it doesn't come at all. The AWD doesn't work either. Is there a fix for this?
