I installed my K&N filter and precharger last night. The problem was I has to force the top back on. It just didn't fit right. Is this normal? There is a very small opening on the left side of the lid, is this going to pose a problem? Did I get the right air filter? Anyone who has installed a K&N air filter in a late model warrior, please assist! Thanks!

 

I had the same problem with my 2000 Warrior when i put my K&N on. It was a pain to get the lid closed and make sure it was seated properly.
I made sure it was on right and never had no problems with it.DOUBLE CHECK THOUGH!
I later bought the Pro Design Pro Flow intake system it is alot better.Just clamps on.

 

A lot better performance wise, or a lot better installation? If it is better performance wise..let me know how much better. I am interested because soon after buying my filter I keep hearing about the intake system you have. Also, what did it cost you? Thanks!
