Hey Guys. New to the forum, I've reads lots on here and it's been a huge help! I have a 92 250 trailboss with a new top end and crank seals, clean carb, I've got good compression and spark and she still won't go. The donor rig I have for my project is a 92 350L. I pulled the stator, did box and flywheel from 350 and put into my 250. I get spark, but The motor won't fire. I know it's not the proper set up, but I'm curious as to whether the parts from the 350 will be compatible with a 250 or if the timing will be waaay to far off to make the unit run.
Anyone have any info on the compatibility of these parts?

As far as the stator themselves go, they are different parts. Are you talking about replacing the whole magneto assembly?

 

yes. I did replace the whole magneto assy. I was hoping that the 350 stator would work on the quad, but based on the results I've got so far I'm going to say they don't plug and play.
