At 5'4" the 250 will fit you well and may be a better buy. The 350 is 80's tech with only some slight updates over the years. While it will out muscle the 250 in a drag race, most every where else the 250 is a better, albeit smaller, machine.

How old are you? I feel I outgrew my little 230 quadsport after about a year. It was still fun but I could handle and would have liked more power. I was 15 at the time. At the same time, if you aren't racing around and being a stupid kid, either one is plenty fast enough. My own son has a pretty stock 300ex. Power wise it is similar to the 250 raptor. I can entertain myself on that thing all day. It is easier to ride at sane trail speeds than my racers for the most part. So a lot of it comes down to you and how/where you ride.

250, with parent approval. Personally I don't think you are to young for it, but mental maturity is something your parents are better off evaluating.

You are 12. I have kids just a bit older and wouldn't put them on a raptor 700. My opinion that is way to much machine and just asking for trouble.
