Hello
i have a 2001 Honda Recon TRX 250 stuck in reverse it is not electronic shifting its Manuel shift with reverse button on hand brake. And it will start but you can not move shift lever up to go into neutral or through forward gears. Need help trying to fix it but no luck. I tried rocking it back and fourth while moving shifter that does not work either.

Sounds like the selector mechanism broken. Remove the clutch cover and check. Usually the star wheel loose or a cracked/broken pawl or pawl lever.
