Custom Axis vs any other brand
#1
Are the Custom Axis shocks that much better than all the rest? Are they worth the extra few hundred bucks as opposed to the new Pro series from Works? Also, what is the wait time on Custom Axis, if any body knows.

I just put a post on the "Honda" section of the forum on about questions on Custom Axis, check it out.
In that Post, I only compared to PEP and TCS, I don't have any experience on ELKA, Ohlins, or Derisi, but Elka is pretty new to the Quads and Ohlins are single spring, so I hope they have some serious progression in the valving or they won't come close.
Derisi on the other hand races on the GNCC circuit Pro Class so they might be a much better shock. AXis is still king and for a reason.
Check out that post and Visit thier web site - www.customaxisshocks.com.
They are expensive, but they are the best, so yes, it is worth it!! I ordered my rear and it took one month. But when I ordered it I told them I needed it before a certain day (1 month) and it was on my door step one day before. (No, I am not sponsored by them, just believe in their product)
Good luck,
Nick
