Default Please help at wits end such a simple thing

Please help been at it for few days now. I have a GIO 70cc beer cart that's been crazy solid and is actually built to last( over 10 years of solid abuse and nothing but a new batt). Anyhow the start button stopped working. Tested solenoid and no click put new tested solenoid on it and still nothing. I've tested the kill and start switches all working properly. There is no safety brake wire or anything on this model. I think I just need power to the trigger wire on the solenoid 2 small wires? I traced the black wire it splices into 2. one goes to CDI other to a unused connector. And the other goes to switch. How can I make the button work again. It's a real pain giving ppl a screwdriver to start the thing. Any help greatly appreciated

Those are usually ground interrupt switches and not hot interrupt. Im thinking you lost your frame ground some ware or possibly your cdi is going out. . I had one that i wired in a heavy duty push button switch right to the starter solenoid Worked great for years.
