Default 110cc SUNl only start by jumping solenoid

Ok I got one for ya. I have a sunl 110 that only starts by jumping the solenoid. it has a new solenoid new key and push start/cable choke/kill switch etc. im stumped I disconnected the battery safety switch (I think) and still nothing. anyone know where to start maybe the remote control box? Update...The wire from the solenoid that is supposed to go to the brake switch goes directly to the negative side of the battery

A test lamp is best for this, but a voltmeter will work. Check if the live feed from the battery to the ignition switch is live at the switch. Check if it is live out of the switch when in the on position. Check if this reaches the starter button, check if the other side becomes live when the button is pressed. There has to be a fault in either the switches or a wire to/from them. This assumes that the brake side of the solenoid wire should go to earth, on some the starter button goes to earth.

ok so I got figured out...the alarm/remote kill box or whatever it is was keeping it from getting power to the starter switch. solution I jump the ignition wire that became hot when I turned the key to the green wire that leads into the starter button. then I unhooked the remote kill box and jumped the red/yellow solenoid wire with the black/white wire and boom everything works the way its supposed to. I didn't have a remote for the box so I don't need it anyway.
