Honda trx400ex maximum rpm for bottom end
#1
I have a 03 trx 400ex and I am putting a CT 440 big bore kit with a web cam, high proformance piston, ported, a couple other goodies to make it have more up. I was wondering could I run a rev box with a stock bottom end, can I run it at crazy rpms and not worry about it destroying itself ? If so what rev box abd how many rpms can I run safe with making about 41 to 46 hp. Thanks

Hey Folks, I have perused hundreds of posts on this flying gathering and still aren't sure what flying set up I ought to have for the following::ride: I have a Honda TRX400ex quad that is a standard bore, has a hot cam stage 2, Sparks advance key and a Workmanship slip-on, standard airbox with top fitted. I have recently bought a 6month old 39mm FCR slantbodied carb from a person that had it from Sudco as an immediate retrofit replacement, he was running it on a vigorously changed 416ex so is streamed for his quad.
