I have one on my Z & the power difference is noticable, but definately not 5 horse. I have a 10 way adjustable one & when setting it between the levels you can feel the power gains in the rpm range it's set for. I have it on level one most of the time, which is for gains in the low-mid rpm range with stock rev limiter. The throttle response & torque is incredible.
But for example, when set to level three the bottom end feels soft, but pulls hard in the upper rpm range.
In my opinion they are woth the money.

I thought the rev box was to increase where the rev limit hits. The Z is around 8,500 and I think it adds about 1,000 so you can rev it up more before shifting. My brother put one on his and you can notice a difference. The stock box hits the limit too soon.

I also have an 07 z400 with a FMF pipe, FMF jet kit, K&K air filter, and no lid. I am wondering if I get this cdi rev box, will it add some more torque at throttle response or is it to get more rpms at the end of the gear? Thank you
