So I haven't owned an ATV since I sold my Yamaha Wolverine 15 years ago. I've been thinking about picking up something used, along the lines of a 400EX, LTZ 400, maybe even a Raptor. Checked ATV Trader, seems to mainly be new bikes, not much on Craigslist. There are a decent number of ATVs on Facebook Marketplace, but it seems like very few of them have titles. Are most of these stolen? Since most of my riding will take place on Florida public lands such as Croom and in the Ocala National Forest, a title is a must. Also, what happened to all the sport ATVs, seems no one besides Yamaha makes them anymore?

 

Maybe your local police department can run the VIN number off the machine you're interested in to see if it has been reported as stolen.

Sport quads are a victim of supply and demand. The side by side market is what most makers are focused on due to demand. Sport quads just don't have the sales numbers they used to so the makers are either trying to sell past year models before a new model comes out or are stopping altogether.
