Have a weird problem with my 08 Outlander Max XT 500. I shut down the machine with the kill switch and now it will not crank over. Dash lights up, no codes or engine light, Battery voltage is 12.8, Battery connections are good, Fuses and relays are good including the three main fuses in the rear, the ignition switch is new and contacts on the kill switch looks good, the fuel pump is pushing fuel (removed the supply and checked). Starter is fine.....I can crank the machine by shorting the starter relay but the engine will not start. Plugs are good with strong spark but they appear dry in spite of having tried it numerous times so I'm suspecting the injectors are not opening. The weird part is the not cranking and no fuel injected came on at the same time. Would a faulty ECU cause this? Appreciate any help or suggestions because I can't get it to a dealer for 10 days.
