Is anyone else having a problem with the switch on the dash to change from tripmeter to tach etc.. ? I bought an 08 outlander and before the first service the switch was broken.

 

I have a 650XT and have the exact same problem... called the dealer that I bought it from and they have the selector switches already on order. don't be alarmed- you didn't break it; the problem lies in the switch itslef. it seams as though they failed to adhear a simple magnet to the switch which is how the switch operates. the magnet "pulls" the switch back out. if you take a small magnet and put it to the switch you fill find that you can scroll through everything. it's very minor yet when you spend that kind of money on a machine- you expect "everything" to perform properly... good luck
