Bought fixer upper for kids for Xmas. The quad didn’t run when I bought it. I need some help getting it started. I feel like the kill switch is on bcuz it sparks good.

 

Sorry but your description is all over the place, it must "turn over" or you wouldn't be able to check for a spark and if the kill switch was on there would not be a spark, as that is what it does, kills the spark. If it has a spark, and turns on the starter, it may need the carb cleaning. If it has electric choke, is that wired in correctly? Or it could have a worn cylinder, this can be checked by a compression test, much under 90psi and it needs the cylinder removing to check for worn rings, and/or cylinder, blown head gasket etc.
