Default Eton Rover 90 UTV with reverse

Please help!!!!

im trying to get this utv going for my kids Christmas I have it running (by jumping the solienoid) but no horn no brake light as soon as I flip the switch either way (forward or reverse) it automatically shuts off. I know it’s a older UTV but I’m hoping someone might have insight on this.

There will be a main fuse that may have blown, but why it should shut off when you switch gears, I don't know. It may be possible to get a wiring diagram from Alpha Sports, they bought all available eTon spares in 2012 when eTon went broke, so have a vested interest in keeping old eTons going.

I checked the only two fuses that I know is there I thought it could be the ignition switch which no one has but even the wiring diagram that is in the eton manual does not match the colors on mine and I know mine are original.

If you can read a diagram colours are not that important. Didn't think eTon did that, but Chinese makers will use whatever colour wire they have in stock. The trick is to work out where the fault could be from the diagram and that, say a yellow/green wire on the diagram, equals a green/black in reality.
