2000 Polaris scrambler 400

Had a hole in piston, replaced top end and now only has 80 psi, fires right up but at high rpm then it just get higher like I’m giving gas,, any ideas 2000 Polaris 400 scrambler

sounds like it may be sucking air from some where causing a lean condition. something is wrong for sure if you only have 80 psi after a new top end.
