I have a 1998 Polaris Explorer 400 2 stroke. My problem with it is that it idles fine and sometimes it will drive fine. But the majority of the time the rev limiter tops out on it. When I first got it I had no issues at all with it. Then it started with the rev limiter then the key switch or the kill switch will kill it. You have to pull the choke every time now to kill it. But it starts fine and idles perfect. I was told when I got it the oil pump had been disconnected and they were running mixed gas instead of trusting the mixtures pump. I’m open to any and all suggestions. Thank you for your time.
