I purchased this quad from a friend for a good price, it had been sitting in his barn for years, covered in bird crap and not used. I brought it home, put a new battery in it and after a few tries it fired up and ran fine. Ever since then I haven’t gotten it to start. I took the carburetor out and disassembled it, cleaned it and re installed. I’ve replaced the voltage regulator, checked for spark, shot it with starting fluid and still nothing. It just turns over but won’t fire.

 

check the compression. should be over 100 psi
