Hey everyone, Im new to small engines. I have a 2003 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO that I bought and wouldnt start. The previous owner put a new Carb in it because they said it was run and then die. Looks like they poked around at wires in the front also.
So I put a new Coil in it and a new on off switch on the bars. It would start then die after 10 min. then had to wait an hr to start again for it to die after a few min. I put a pickup coil in without checking the old one. The new amazon one tests at 110 ohm and the stock original tested at 90 ohm. I get nothing now when trying to start it.
I tested the Stator and dont get any ohm reading from it at all. Does the stator stop it from giving spark? I was thinking about also changing out the CDI but dont know how to test if it is good or not.

Can someone help me??
