Question 2005 on 2000 Yamaha Big Bear Brakes

Hello, and welcome to my my first forum post!

I have a very small modification I want to make to my 2000 yamaha big bear 400cc 4x4. The rear brake plate is messed up pretty bad, and yamaha doesn't produce the part anymore for my 2000 year model. I've been looking a lot at the part diagrams on partzilla, and believe that I could use the 2005 year model brake plate on mine, as long as I make a few other swaps as well. This includes the the brake shoes, the spring returns, another plate, and some cotter pins. I'll include the exact part numbers below so you can look at what I'm looking at. I wanted to ask before I went through with the purchase if people on the forum thought that this would be an easy swap or there are some other complications I'm not aware of.
Brake shoe plate - 5VH-F5321-11-00
Spring returns - 5VH-F5333-01-00
Plate 1 - 5VH-F539F-01-00
Cotter pins - 91490-25020-00

I found it easiest to compare the two designs by pulling up the parts diagrams on two, side by side, pictures.

Please let me know if this isn't the right place to post this thread.

Thanks for any help in advance!

Pictures below are 2000 on top and 2005 on bottom.

Hey, I'm having same issue with 2000 big bear brake plate, did the 2005 work on yours?
