Can anyone help me identify this kids ATV. I bought it for 50$ for my daughter a couple years ago and I'm rebuilding it problem is I don't know what it is. I've looked up the vin and it comes back as nothing. It says it's a 2005 149.4 displacement? I have no clue other than it's Chinese. At this point I'm just trying to find new plastics for it. Any help would be great.
Very strange, the vin plate is nonsense, as ZX is apparently reserved for Slovenia and tenth number or letter of a VIN is date code which is 8 for 2008. Engine looks to be a GY6 which is fairly uncommon on ATVs. 150cc wasn't all that common a size for ATVs either. Plastics look fairly generic, could be worth checking if any Kazuma model used them as I think Kazuma plastics are available and cheap.
Yeah 10th letter is a 5 making it a 2005. As far as looking up the vin all I got was that it was Chinese. I've been looking at engines and I do believe it is a gy6 which I think is a scooter engine right? And the plastics do look like they are what you said. This thing is weird.
Had another look at that VIN, I think I missed an L off. The fist letter? Hardly shows on the picture. That would make it an E Z Rider motor or E Z Ryder motor, I get different spellings with different decoders. All I come up with is a defunct trade mark badge on Google. The bike will have been made in China for them, so may well have been sold in the US by other importers. No pics of actual ATVs on Google would indicate they didn't import many.
