2012 trx400
#1
I just purchased a 2012 TRX400, it's my first four wheeler/quad/whatever you want to call it lol
It does need new tires though and I've been doing a ton of reading/researching. I think I like the Kenda Bear Claws but am open to other suggestions and reasons why.
I currently have 22x7-10's on the front and 20x10-9 on the rear.
I am curious to know if I can change the size of the tires but keep them the same proportion or how that works..
I am thinking about doing new wheels as well but struggling to find the same size as stock, in wheels that I like the Douglas Wheel Red Label 190 Polished Aluminum Wheel or something like that.
I live in Western Kentucky, out in the country a little bit, so I mostly ride on dirt (loose and packed), some mud, gravel, and pavement.
I'd appreciate any help and suggestions!

I don't know that model, as we only work on Utility bikes plus a few kids quads. However we sell Bear Claws and find them a good combination of grip, durability and price. Regarding tyre sizes, the wider the front tyre, the heavier the steering as a rule, and too big a tyre will hit the plastics on full lock. Rears, both width and diameter is governed by if it will hit the plastics or exhaust on full bump. On wheels, the hole centres and offset of the wheels is important, on fronts offset alters steering geometry, on rears, again the tyre may hit the exhaust, or stick out and throw mud up, with the wrong offset.

Customized to riders who essentially need to spend an end of the week going mud romping for joy, the 2012 scope of Honda TRX™ ATVs give something to fledgling as well as master administrators to appreciate. Using a steel suspension outline, the 2012 Honda TRX™ line is accessible in four trim levels.
