I hope I don't get in trouble for this. me and some friends are putting an ATV ride together to help Special Olympics, It will be on June 2nd in central Utah Most likely up 12 mil. canyon by Gunnison, we would like a 10 dollar donation, For that you will get lunch and a guide for the day on some of the best trails on the Paiute trail system. we have been guiding for years and love to do it, I can not tell you, you must donate but it would be most help full, it will cover the cost of food and the rest will go to the special Olympics, it is limited to 100 people give or take a few depending on if we can get this manny, we will have 3 or 4 different rides according to driving skills..it will all go to the kids we get nothing for doing this, just the pride of helping. let me know if you are coming this way we can make the right number of lunches.....

 

This is kind of a bad day to hold a ride since this is the same day as Marengo, the biggest mud ride in the country I believe.

 

I'd like to go. Keep me updated on exactly when and where, also do I need to Pre-register or just show up?

Heck, for a chance to ride around that area with someone who knows where they're going 10 bucks is mighty cheap. I may even try to get down there from Boise for that. Keep me informed. It is definatly a worthwhile project.

 

Can any of the rides be done riding double? I have a 500 auto and was just curious. I may bring a friend.

Just a thought for you... Have you tried contacting several of the ATV Clubs in Utah? I know that you would get more to come.

 

told a few at work now just have to make a sign to hang on the board so mabey we can get a few from tooele/slc. p.s. if nobody has been to this area in utah before your missing uot on the best country in the world and some of the best trails not to mention the help we can give to a child for doing something we love! WHAT A GREAT THING TO DO FOR SOMEONE NOT AS WELL TO DO AS OURSELVES

 

[red]you ride how ever you want I will have more then one on my bike, under 16 make sure they have helmets cops do watch for that but I don't care. I went up the mountain over the weekend it looks good, these rides will be tailored for utility type ATVs there is a lot of mud right now there will be mud some snow when we go so be prepard for it. it will be a lot of fun.[/red]
