Hey, first post on this forum because im stumped. If anyone could explain how the wiring works on the 93 scrambler 400 4x4 auto because i let it sit for a while and just got back into it, replaced the battery and have no power. Im trying to run a multimeter at the wires up near the front but im concerned if theres like breakers or fuses that could be popped or damaged coming from the battery because im getting no power up front at all. Also, could anyone check my wiring on the starter solenoid, i replaced it before i let it sit because it wasnt working and I think I messed it up. Thanks Battery Starter solenoid Wires
No that does not look correct. I have never seen someone run a cable from one lug of the solenoid to the other lug ever. The solenoid is basically a switch. It gets power in and sends power out. Normally you will have a line from the battery to the solenoid them from the solenoid to the starter.
I suggest you get a service manual for your machine and follow the wiring diagrams. There are many things that can be wrong and need to be checked but you can not do that without a manual.
Thanks i appreciate the help, I figured everything out this morning and did some tests and my starters probably out. Also, my pull start cable snapped so im going to try and get a new cable for it just to be able to start it. Thanks!
