Help! clutch still slipping
#1
After 1st oil change using mobil oil my clutch started slipping.I saw that some of ya'll use castrol gtx w/ no complaints so i tried that.It still slips. This didn't start until AFTER the oil change.Could there still be enough mobil oil that dinn't drain out to cause a slip.Do i need that $5.00 a quart oil? What does Bomb use from factory?Any help greatly appreciated.

The stock clutch springs may be a bit weak. I would install HD clutch springs. I have experienced the after oil change minor slippage. It seemed to go away after a few cautious rides, being careful not to burn up the clutch.

Both Ron Woods and Team Pani have heavy duty clutch springs, Personaly I don't use auto oil, for the first year I used motorcycle non synthtic oil, these oils are enginered for wet clutchs although I am changing to synthtic oil for this oil change.
