Can anyone tell me what the deal is with this light and the fan always running, I'm assuming the sending unit is messed up but would like some info.It has'nt siezed but it's not fun looking at the light either.Other than being a little under powered I like my ride. Thanks

I would think maybe its the temp sending unit. I have heard a couple of others with the same problem.

Hey thanks for the reply. Iguess the part is called a Thermistor, I heard there might have been a recall, mainly on the 500's.Has anyone else heard anything. Thanks again.

Don't know about a recall, but I just had mine replaced along with the fan. As soon as I turned on the ignition, the light came on.

The local dealer was very cool, didn't charge me any labor. I'll be buying my next machine from him for sure.
