I just installed new rear brake pads like I have done a hundred times and they are too tight. I backed the parking brake all the way off, took the brake lever all the way loose and they are still tight on a jack when I rotate the tires. What could this be? When I installed the pads I did like always, loosened the reservoir cap while I pushed the piston in slowly. The pads and caliper where harder than usual to get on the rotor this time though. when i rode it they got hot and tighter, not locked up but a drag was there. What is making the pads so tight? without applying the brake? The pedal is also harder to mash than my sons 400ex and my other four wheelers. Help?
Air in the lines? Do they have to brake in? Sticky piston in caliper?
