I have raced a suzuki King Quad and stomped it in a drag race. My friend has a Yamaha Timberwolf and he thinks he can beat my honda 250ex. I told him he was full a crap. Does anybody think he can beat me in a drag race? I plan on racing him sometime soon.

It is possible that the Timberwolf would win. When we would drag our Recon (which the 250ex gets most of its parts from) and our Beartracker (which is a renamed Timberwolf) the Beartracker would win every time. The gearing was slightly different which allowed the Bear to take off quicker and gave it a 1 or 2 mph higher top end then the Recon. Also the rider on the Bear weighed almost 120 lbs then the Recon rider which also helped the Bear win. Now the 250ex has slightly different gearing then the Recon so that may help, or it might make it worse, I don't know because I am unsure how the gearing is different.
The only way to know for sure is to drag them and see

I raced him today 5/16/01. I destroyed him his second gear is about the same speed as my first gear. Timberwolfs are underpowered.
