My dad is going to pick up a Rubicon and a 450ES this weekend. I was wondering if there is anything we must have in the way of after market parts for these two 4-wheelers. Like skid plates brush guards etc. and also anything that would help with the performance.

Is there anything that we need to watch for like little glitches or any problems anyone has had? Thanks for all the help and we are glad to be in the Honda family now.

put locktite on the screws that hold the rubicon shifter (ESP,D1,D2). They will back out after a few miles. Make sure both have filter oil on the air filter and make sure both have an rubber o-ring on the oil fill cap. And make sure that they have oil in them!!!

If you are planning alot of farm or off road riding I would say better stick guards. The ones from honda are kind of cheap. I got mine from aluminum products for 45 bucks i think. A boot is much more expensive than that. Also the best bolt on I have is my hand/thumb warmers. When its winter, cold or rainy flipping those puppies on makes a world of difference. Nothing sucks worse then cold hands. There not expensive and fairly easy to do it yourself.

You should put some loktite on the fuel petcock also. "the gas on/off ****" lol. My screw came out. Lucky for me the side cover held the petcock in place. Good luck.
