Well found a dealer that would deal, so I am all set to pick it up tomorrow (last one they had)..

Anyways, was wondering, is the 36 month extra warranty worth it? I can get it for 495, but not sure if I need it or not..

DO NOT GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY, ITS TOTAL BULL****. All the warranty covers is defective parts, so if you wreck on a jump they will not cover your quad. They will only cover defective parts and defective parts happens about 1 out of every 30 or so quads.

Thanks for the info, I think I will skip it.. I can add it within 6 months if it looks like I am going to need it heh.

new400ex : I went to B&J SpeedShop in Taylorville IL. They let it go for 5050 (using the Honda Bonus bucks) + tax, Lic ($30.00), Doc ($49.75)..

Thought that was a fair deal, as it seems they mostly go for around 5100 to 5300 depending on the location. My local dealer wouldnt move a penny off the msrp .. Bastages heh. I was going to go back there and use this price to beat em down, but decided screw em, if they didnt want my business by not dealing before, I wouldnt give em another chance to take my $$..

I have the warrenty and it has helped me out so much. They have covered 3 front blown out shocks, broken axel, frame, and head lights and rims. Thats very good to me

that also sounds like your dealer is letting ALOT slide with that...doesnt sound like "factory" defective parts...
