A friend of mine (that has more dollars than sense) took his '99 500 scrambler to the dealer to have a dumb transmission replaced. When he went to pick it up after repairs he decided he didn't want a quad that had a "replacement" transmission. He told the dealer to order him a '00 scrambler and sell the '99 for whatever he could get for it. Dealer called me, because Marie is leaning towards the 4 stroke and asked if I wanted to put her '99 400 in the showroom (because it looks awesome!) and sell it and buy the '99 500. I brought the '99 500 home for the weekend and she really liked it. So, if anyone here wants to make the trade from a 500 scrambler to a 400, I've got your ticket. For those of you that have kept up with the changes, we are keeping the purple plastic, DG bumper, & aluminum wheels. I put the White Plastic back on & with all the custom yellow, it looks GREAT! Has Yellow Trailblazer hood with 3rd headlight. Yellow seat & custom yellow flares. Utility Spring in the clutch (hooks up strong right off the bottom) and thats about all. Very tame machine. Any takers?
