My cooling fan has gone south and I was wondering how important the fan is on an air cooled model?

Anyone know how much a replacement fan is?

I'm sure it has to be pretty important. Even if it's not, It's nice to have that since of security. It would definitly suck if you were riding trails on a nice hot summer day and then have you engine over-heat. Especially if your not anywhere close to anyone that can help you. It's basic matinence and should be carried out. I don't think they are that much money. Don't know though, I have a liquid cooled. Seriouly though, I would think you need it, I mean I've been far out in places and sure was glad my ATV didn't give out on me, That trailboss of yours would be a B!tch to push out of the woods, if you know what I mean!!

I have a 1989 250 trailboss 4X4 and it does not have a cooling fan on it, I have only had it for a year but have had no problems with overheating. I do wish it did have a fan for the times I am riding when it is hot weather and I am going slow. I wouldnt wory about riding without it but would get a new fan just to be safe.
