I'm going to be buying some plastic for my 250R soon and want it to be my own, original look. I don't want to copy something so that everyone else's R will look like mine.

I was thinking about Reg Cut Red plastic, with a black hood 86 style, and a black tank cover, with a black seat cover. How would this look? Does anyone else have any ideas?

What would black plastic, and a dark blue frame look like together? would it look good?

Come on yall, some of yall have to have some opinions on what would look good on a 250R. please help me

Don't buy Maier plastic...that would be the best favor that you can do yourself. I did and have been kicking myself ever since.

Black fenders and red hood, tank, and seat cover look good.

The blue and yellow is nice.

I am going to white Honda fenders, carbon fiber hood and tank cover, silver and black seat cover, and I just repainted my frame with some PPG coarse metal flake bright a$$ed silver. Then there is the accent color---->CHROME!!!!

Orange and white looks good. White fenders, orange frame, hood and tank.

Purple, black and teal looks good.

Green and white.

Blue and black comes out a tad dark, that is unless you are looking for the Darth Vader look....

 

Why shouldn't i buy maier? thats what i was goin to buy, cause it's a whole lot cheaper than oem plastic. What would you suggest i buy then?

 

400EX plastic can be made to fit on 250Rs. It is fairly cheap and looks good. Nathan Dallas has Red on his with a racing nosepiece to eliminate the lights. PSI Genesis has a 330R with yellow plastic on it with the headlights that looks good too.

The Maier plastic does not shine like OEM or Fullbore plastic. The reason I suggested the 400EX plastic is because it is much cheaper than OEM 250R plastic. The Fullbore plastic is over $400 for a complete set, but they have alot of different colors to choose from.
