good deal on a 250r

Hi, i know someone that is selling an 1988 250r and wants $3800,i would like to know if it is a good deal,here are the mods it has: Trinity stage one porting,wiseco piston, bored . 080 over,mikuni carb,Ac pro peg nerf bars,renthal handlebars,FMF pipe and silencer,YZ blue FULL BORE plastic and Works triple rate front shocks with reservoirs,there is most likely more i just cant think of it.the only thing i am a little uncomfortable with is the . 080 over piston.anyways,tell me what you think.

Dude I would jump on it!

The .080 over piston,I beleive is the highest bore size U can go on the 87-89's.(the 86 can go .120.U can get it resleeved.Or U can go big bore.



Around here U see stock 86's in terrible shape for 4 grand.It is rare to find a nice R.I know about 3 other's(beside's mine)That are nice.


U know that building racing qauds is expensive.I have an 86 that is pretty moded and I have around 5500 in it including the 2500 I bought it for.I have found some great deals on stuff though.


So yeah I would buy it.
