What are the biggest tires I can put on without putting on a lift kit. And what are your best recommendations for all around use - mostly slow mudding.

I believe that I can put 26" tires on without doing anything else, but I would like to put 27" tires on.

We put a set of 27x12x12 inch Bear Claws on My buddies 450 without a lift. They very slightly rub the spring on the shock on a full turn but barely enought to notice. A 1/4 inch wheel spacer would probably take care of it if it bothered you, but it hasnt been any problem in over a year for him.

 

My buddy has ITP 589's, 27X9 on the front and 27X11 on the rear with absolutely no problems. There's plenty of room. Depends on what you're lookin' at for width.

 

my 2002 450s foreman has 27x10x12 vampires all around its been twisted and turned every direction....never had a rub
