Mine were also 1 turn out on the air screws. Stock jetting is 140/145 with the needle clip in #3 from the top.
One thing though, I don't think I would mix the stock needles with the DynoJet main jets. Their jets are not the same as the normal jets even if the numbers are the same. Search on this forum and you will find quite a discussion about them.
I gave up on the DynoJet kit and went back to stock jetting. The jetting suggestions that they offered in the kit aren't even close enough to get the quad to run above idle and I was tired of messing with it.

Hi Zach,
I've only ridden over Memorial Day with the extended axle and it works great! I avoid Rampart like the plague, however. The trails are too tight and many have been worn into a deep "V" by the dirt bikes. The dirt bikers don't like the ATVers and I am glad to leave it to them. The last time that I rode there I almost had 3 head-on's with those crazies.
I'll be getting out this weekend for the first time with the extended swing-arm and maybe the Elka shocks if they get here before Friday. I'm riding at Hackett Gulch which is North of Divide on hwy. 24 from Colorado Springs. Sorta like Rampart without the idiots and tight trails. Go to to www.rockymountainatv.org for more info. You can also get trail maps from Fay Myers, or Four-Wheel Drive trail books from the bookstore. Basically you can ride any dirt road as long as it is not a county road.
Stay on the trails!

Thanks Joe, I appreciate the feedback. So far I've been lucky in the close call department down there. I've been riding there for about fifteen years and have been lucky enough to have only had one bad crash and that was my fault. Where else do you ride?

Thanks everyone,
I feel the stock needles give a snappier throttle response for general riding conditions. I plan to dump the dynojet needles and jets and run stock needles and 165/170 jets and no lid (Graydon reccomends 180/185 jets but I spoke to someone who has the same pipe/filter combo dialed in with 165/170 jets) Unfortunately every bike is different!! I will post my findings after I get my cast off my arm and can turn a wrench!!

Hi Zach,
Boy, surviving 15 years of riding at Rampart is quite an accomplishment I'd say. I've only seen it since I moved here in '95 but it's always been bad. One of the guys in the club has a cabin near Devils Head and if you get at least that far back you've lost most of the dirt bikers. There are some trails that I enjoy but like I said, I try to avoid it as much as possible.
We ride all over Colorado and Utah. Even went to Dumont Dunes in California over Thanksgiving week. As soon as the high country opens up we will be riding out of Georgetown, Breckenridge, Buena Vista, Camp Hale, Ouray, Grant, Steamboat Springs, and Walden just to name a few. Moab in the Spring and Fall.
Most of our trips include camping as the places close enough to day ride have become pretty boring.
Happy trails,
