I sanpped my grab bar off. I do not want to ride it without one so i do not mess up the fmf pipe. I live in alaska and the dealers say that thye called dg and one said that there grab bar is on recall and the other one said that they were back ordered. All the dealers said that the dg bars were the only ones they could get a hold of. If you someone could help me out with a phone number or a part number that would be great I know there has to be more bars out there. thanks in advance

I just got the desert bar. Its great. Sticks out enough to protect the silencer but not to far to interfere with the big wheelies. They are $50 plus shipping. I have stood mine up a few times on it and it does great.

My friend has a AC wide grab bar, it works great because he doesnt have rear brakes the caliper messed up and he cant afford them right now, ATV Addiction Has them!

oh yeah, mine snapped too I just got my cast off my left wrist boy that stuff really pisses me off when crap like that happens, it caused my subframe to bend and when it snapped it tossed it on its side and bent an a-arm! one of those cheap aluminum a-arms, I mean I know they wanted to cut down on weight, but I would rather them cut down on me having to buy replacements too! doesnt everyone agree???

Syko,

Does the Desert bar save any weight over the stock bar...just curious. I was thinking of getting the same one because I think it looks great. I have the PRM skid plate and a-arm plates...they are fantastic. The skid is very beefy and already has saved my brake rotors a$$. I would definitely recommend PRM.
