If you had to choose between a 300ex or a Blaster.......which one would you pick?? Why?

If you had to choose between a 300ex or a Blaster.......which one would you pick?? Why?
I'd pick a 300ex because all around a 300ex would be better

Which one has more power? pretty even
Which one has more speed? blaster
Which one has better handling? 300ex
Which one is a better slider? 300ex
Which one is a better jumper? blaster, cuz it's so much lighter, but the landing would go to a 300ex
Which one has more mods? on the market? they're about the same
Which one can wheelie better? the blaster cuz it's so light and easy to pull up, but the 300ex also is pretty easy to pull up.
Which one is all around better? 300ex

 

Which one has more power? 300ex has a more of a pulling power where as the blaster has more of a high revving 2stroke power. Which one has more speed? blaster
Which one has better handling?prob the ex
Which one is a better slider? about the same probably
Which one is a better jumper? id say the ex
Which one has more mods? prob about the same blaster maybe a little more.
Which one can wheelie better? they are about the same but i would give the 1st place to the 300ex.
Which one is all around better? probbly the 300ex.

If somebody was going to buy one for me obviously I'd take the 300ex cuz it costs more, If I were buying it I'd buy a blaster and spend the extra $$$ I saved on the EX on aftermarket parts, pipe/tires/whatever...

Which one has more power? 300ex has more grunt, blaster has more ummph.
Which one has more speed? blaster
Which one has better handling? if you know how to throw your weight a blaster, if a beginner 300ex.
Which one is a better slider? blaster, easily.
Which one is a better jumper? About the same, blaster jumps higher, EX lands better.
Which one has more mods? blaster
Which one can wheelie better? 300ex, its a 4stroke, no twitchy power to mess with.
Which one is all around better? Its all about you.

 

I made that same choice last summer. I have friends with both, so i rode both. For what id do, woods and desert, I got the Blaster. Havent regretted it.
It depends on what you are going to do with it. the new blaster with Raptor disc brakes is cool! and with a good pipe, it's hot!

You guys need to stop being so bashing of a machine.... you have a 300ex so its the greatest right!!!!!!! all hail the 300ex just cuz some kids have them lol...thats not how it works, I have owned both machines and I would definatley go for the blaster...Iam not saying the 300ex isnt a good quad, but in my opinion the blaster is better. Whenever you answer one of his questions u make an excuse, to make it sound bad, which one is a better jumper? The blaster only cuz it is so light, so what the blaster is lighter so it makes it better...just like a yfz is better then a 400ex. Those are reasons to buy a machine, not excuses. So stop bashing one machine and be honest, In a flat drag race the blaster will beat it no matter what you guys say, plus it is so much cheaper. There is no comparison the blaster is like 3000 and the 300ex is like 5000 so if you put 2 grand into the blaster it wouldnt even be a competition the blaster would beat it everything. So basically decide what you like better and go from there, cuz you arent going to get honest answers in here...

Which one has better handling? I think there Both Pretty Close The Blaster Rides Better
Which one is a better slider? About the Same
Which one is a better jumper? Blaster Jumps alot Better
Which one has more mods? Blaster Get a 240 Big bore and it will Fly For its Size
Which one can wheelie better? Blaster
Which one is all around better? Blaster By Far I think, I road both and its Just a Good All around Quad and it feels alot better then the 300 and Looks Way better

which one can wheelie better? definately the 300ex, i can ride them all day on it, but the blaster can ride good ones too.
which one is all around better?i would have to go with the 300ex for woods and mud, but the blaster for sand .

I have owned both of these quads and if you disagree with me than so be it, these are my opinions.

 

and supersampson, your the one doing the bashing saying that it will flat out beat it in a drag and saying "the 300ex is better because some kid owns one", that is not true and is off subject. it wouldnt because the 300ex because it has a higher top speed and accelerates faster, yamaha sells it so cheap because it is restricted more than a 300ex, but stock for stock i think a 300ex is better.

 

id say the ex but its because it fits my style and comfort better...imo the mojave is better than both but thats just me we all have opinions
