Let me give you the info, ive ridin both (2003 300ex & 2002 blaster) Both are stock machines and overall which ever you choose is a good choice!
Which one has more power? Depends you like snap or grunt
Which one has more speed? Blaster hands down
Which one has better handling? Tie
Which one is a better slider? blaster
Which one is a better jumper? Blaster and 300ex both have down sides, the 300ex wieght distribution is right on while it has a slower reving motor compared to the blaster which makes it less manuverable in the air!
Which one has more mods? Blaster
Which one can wheelie better? 300ex
Which one is all around better? 300ex is reliable torquey, jumps well, but if you have mods planned nothing beats the blaster!

Which one is a better jumper? the blaster is lighter which always helps but I have never jumped a 300ex.

The Blaster has more mod potential. But stock they are almost the same speed with the Blaster having a little more top end. For reliability and the added convenience of having reverse and electric start, I would definitely go with the EX.

get the blaster...i dunno i just like it a lot better then the 300ex and I know for a fact it will beat one stock vs. stock and modded vs. modded

 

which one has more power? Stock vs Stock(my 300ex beat a blaster in a drag)(so in low end the 300ex does)
which one has more speed? I hooked up a GPS to my stock 300ex and got it to maxed at 57 MPH on a open road, so im not sure on the blaster

which one is all around better? 300ex but remember, if u spend 2000 on a 300ex and $1500 on a blaster, w/ he extra $500 you could buy new pipes, witch will put the blaster a little faster.

 

u can buy a lot more than just a pipe with 500 bucks. i would say blaster, all the money you saved can be put in to performance parts to make it much faster than the 300ex

but if you can find a blaster for $500 cheaper, and put that $500 into parts it will beat the EX
