Pro Design Timing plate questions for Banshee
#1
Today I went and bought a pro design adjustable stator plate for my Banshee and had a few questions,
The instructions say that by installing the plate at "0" right where the cases meet is stock timing. I want to advance the timing, so where do I put it at?
What is the flywheel nut torque?
The mods to my engine include: Stock motor with coolhead (20cc domes), FMF fatty pipes, jetted, K&N filter, etc. Also run Pump gas 92 octane, quad is only ridden at sea level.
Thanks.

Turn the plate clock wise for more advance. 4 degrees on pump gas and the domes you have is going to be about right. Stay on top of your jetting and don't try to ride the wheels off it and you'll be OK.
The nut usually is torqued to 50 ft/lbs...

Thanks guy's,
What kinda jetting do you think is right.......
I have 290 mains, 30 pilots, needle in the stock position. (stock Yamaha needles)
I ride it hard and have not had it melt down yet
