I was riding my Blaster today and on my way home it stalled out and came to a stop. As if it where out of gas. It sputtered and poped a little and stopd. I turned it on reserve and tried to kick it and the kickstarter wouldnt move at all. Did the piston seeze??It is a fairly new piston and sleeve put in around new years.

Try this, put 6th gear and try pushing it, if the tires wont move then chances are you cooked it. Bummer..

When it stalled did the wheels skid? If they didn't move then it probably is seized. It wouldn't matter how new the top end is, it's how you ride it.

You didn't happen to run out of 2-stroke oil did you. I know that will usualy cause the piston to lock up, but if you are lucky it won't. when I did that I just ended with a slight case of piston slap that is gradualy getting worse.

Couldn't be that he was out of oil, his blaster had the oil injection removed. Maybe a lean air-fuel mixture. Did you rejet after you installed your pipe?

Ok I tried pushing it in sixth gear and it did move and I could hear the piston going up and down. And now the kick starter moves.Oh and I rpe mix my gas so I know it isnt an oil problem. But the thing still wont start. At least it isnt cooked though.

I think u should buy a block off kit for the oil injection and mix gas instead. I had a 2000 blaster.I personaly dont trust the injection system my causins oil system stoped working one day and he fried it.

The only way to really know if your blew a ring or the like would be a compression test.
Just because the piston moves does not mean you are in the clear just yet.
Check it over good.... Kicking a machine with a bad ring can damage the cylinder really bad.

The exact same thing happened to me last fall. It seized, but later on it would turn over just fine. I blew the top end. Check the compression. I'm willing to bet the top end is blown.
