Does anyone know what the compression should be?? Or would it be differant since I have a weisco piston, rings and a sleeve?? So can anyone tell me at least a close estimate of the compression? thanks.

Anything below about 90-95 is in need of a rebuild. 115-120 should be about right for a stock bike. Well at least that is what the banshee calls for.

Actually...I don't even think you will be able to get it started below 90.

mt400ex- "blowing the top end" is a way of saying its time for a rebuild. s stroke need a new top end about every 300-400 hours depending on use. 4 strokes can get away with alot more hours. When you blow the top end, it means the piston/rings are no longer usable and need to be replaced. You will know when it happens. What happened to 420 happens alot.
