Honda's probably got something going on if Dirt Wheels went as far as to show a picture of the CR450F motor, and mention that they'd like to see a new quad with a 450F or XR650 motor in it. We'll probably just have to wait a few months to see.

I would think if they came out with anything this year or next year it would be the 650 motor. Because the 450 motor just came out and it takes at least 3 years to design, build, and test an ATV along with the other things it takes to get one into production. So if anything it would probably be a 650.

This is gona be sweet!!
I cant wait to see what Honda comes out with.
I think it will be out soon because dirt wheeles published a spy photo of the 660 Grizzly in the July issue and it was just released this month on Yamaha's web site. I expect to see somthing new from Honda around mid July. And you know that when it comes out all the ex-Honda riders that went out and bought the Raptor (just to be cool) are going to be very very sorry. I think that you will see a lot of Raptors up for sale when Honda releases its version of the High performance, big bore four-stroke ATV.

Honda didn't compete with the Banshee from 1990 through 1998, so what makes you think it is going to compete with the Raptor when it already has something basically in the same class?

The 450F motor didn't just magically appear, its in the MX bike right now, they could have been testing it in an ATV simultaneously .Who in their right mind would want the XR650 motor in an ATV when they could have a lighter, harder hitting motor that produces the same HP?
