thanx...

in my opinion a 400warrior would win a drag race but lose on a mx track, and i think they would break even in the woods, just my guess!

probley you in a drag only bc you are lighter and have same/more power. I would like to know that outcome tho.

The 400EX will still beat you at any kind of race. That's if both riders are of equal skill, because eventhough you have just as many cc's as the 400EX the Warrior's engine has only two valves compared to the EX's 4 valves which lets it rev faster and longer which equals more power and speed.

you would smoke a stock 400ex. just because he has 2 valves per head doesnt mean anything when he has the rest of those mods. My guess would be that he is easily pushing over 30 hp.

First of all a 400EX only has one head with 4 valves not 2 valves per head. Second of all I have seen this same question asked in Dirtwheels a couple of times and the answer to the question is always the same: The 400EX is still faster because of its higher tech engine. It's going to take more than a 400 kit to make a Warrior faster than the EX.

he has more than a 400 kit, did you actually read what he said? a ported and polished head, performance cam...A warrior with just a cam and high comp piston will be right next to a 400ex. and yes i know a 400ex has a 4 valve head, i was talking about the warrior.

Yes I did read what he said and that is why I am telling you that it will take more than that to even keep up with an EX! A Warrior is just way behind the EX in the power department and it is going to take more than a big bore 400 kit with a port and polish job to keep up with a 400EX. If you want to be able to run with the EX check out the 500 kit fourstroke tech makes for the Warrior. Now that would have you in the ball park with today's highperformance machines.

With the 500 FST kit and all the other stuff, the warrior would absolutely slaughter a 400ex.
